This highly qualified expert is a double board-certified diagnostic and pediatric radiologist. She earned her BS from the University of Tennessee and her MD from Meharry Medical College before completing her diagnostic radiology residency training at Wake Forest University and North Carolina Baptist Hospital, Inc, and a fellowship in pediatric radiology at the National Children's Medical Center with George Washington University. She stays active in her field as a member of the American College of Radiology, the Society for Pediatric Radiology, and the American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology and has authored over 80 peer-reviewed articles and 11 book chapters on topics relating to pediatric radiology, Formerly, she held a number of positions as a pediatric radiologist at the Children's Medical Center of Dallas, Vanderbilt University Medical Center & Children’s Hospital, Children’s Mercy Hospital, and Overland Park Regional Medical Center. She has also served as an assistant professor of radiology and pediatrics at Vanderbilt University, a clinical associate professor of radiology at the University of Missouri, and as a professor and the academic chair of radiology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is currently a clinical associate professor of radiology at a medical school in Kansas as well as a pediatric radiologist with a radiology group practice in Kansas.
