He completed his internship in internal medicine at University Hospitals Case Medical Center, and both his residency in diagnostic radiology and his fellowship in vascular and interventional cardiology at Duke University. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology with a subspecialty certification in vascular and interventional radiology. He is active in his field as a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and the Radiological Society of North America.
