Physics Expert Witnesses

This highly qualified radiation oncology and medical physics expert has extensive experience in his field. He received his BS in nuclear engineering, his MS in medical physics and his PhD in Medical Physics all from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He holds board certifications in both medical physics and general radiology and radiologic physics. He has published over 30 journal articles and given over 100 peer-reviewed presentations related to topics in his field. He is a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine as well as the American College of Radiology. Currently, this expert serves as an adjunct associate professor of nuclear engineering at a top TN university, the director of medical physics at a TN cancer center and the founder of a TN radiation center.

While at the University of Arkansas he completed a BS in chemistry and a BS in biology, he then went to the University of Texas where he completed a PhD in biochemistry. He is active in the field as a member of the American Physics Society and the American Chemical Society. He previously was a laboratory technician for Tyson Food, an assistant professor of chemistry at the University of Central Arkansas, and an instructor at Pulaski Technical College. For 15 years he has served as a health physicist in the radiation control section for a state health service in Arkansas.

This expert received a Ph.D. in Biomedical Physics and is board certified in Radiology. She is a certified Radiation Safety Officer and a member of the American College of Medical Physics and American Nuclear Society.

This expert has over 25 years of experience in analytical chemistry including pharmaceutical development. With a Ph.D. from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he has published in analytical and physical chemistry. His previous positions include various lead positions of research and development as well as analytical testing. He currently serves as a Senior Vice President of an analytical services firm.

This computational scientist is a member of the professional staff at a prestigious science and technology university in California, where he works in the school's Center for Advanced Computing Research. The expert earned a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Manchester and a Ph.D. in Experimental Particle Physics from the University of Sheffield. He held a staff physicist position at CERN before assuming his current role. The expert is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. His current research interests include high performance network and computing systems and grid architectures.
