Occupational Therapy Expert Witnesses in Idaho

This expert is a board-certified surgeon with a clinical fellowship in burn care. He is the director of a regional burn center and he has previously served as the chair for the department of surgery. In addition, he has published articles in the Journal of Burn Care and Rehabilitation.

This expert is a sport scientist, trained in exercise physiology and bio-mechanics. He recently served as the National Director of Education for the National Strength and Conditioning Association in Colorado Springs, CO. He has served as the Director of the Monfort Family Human Performance Research Laboratory at Colorado Mesa University. At the U.S. Olympic Committee in Colorado Springs, he was Recovery Center Leader, Head of Sport Biomechanics and Engineering, and Senior Physiologist. He has over 40 years experience in Olympic sports. This expert has served as an associate professor at the University of Utah’s Department of Exercise and Sport Science and Co-Director of the Motor Behavior Research Laboratory with adjunct appointments in Bioengineering and Physical Therapy. He was the Department Chair of Exercise Science & Sports Medicine at California Lutheran University and Director of the Human Performance Laboratory. Other positions include: Director of Research and Development for USA Gymnastics, Scientific Committee of the International Gymnastics Federation, and Chair of the United States Elite Coaches Association for Women’s Gymnastics. He has written 11 books, over 25 book chapters, received over $¼ million in grants and contracts, published over 300 articles on sport performance, over 35 professional awards. He is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine, certified as an Athlete Recovery Specialist, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Wilderness EMT, and has several certifications in emergency communications, emergency medicine, and search and rescue.

This highly qualified sports injuries expert has over 20 years of professional experience in treatment and rehabilitation, and exercise physiology. He earned his BS in animal science from Oklahoma State University and his MS in animal science and his PhD in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University. He is a member of various professional societies including the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Society for Testing and Materials. Formerly, he has served as the director of sports physiology at Texas Center for Sports Medicine, an assistant professor of exercise physiology at Indiana State University, the director of the human performance research laboratory and a professor at West Texas A&M University, and as an assistant dean at the College of Western Idaho. Currently, this expert is an adjunct associate professor at a university in TX and MT. Additionally, he serves as an associate professor of exercise physiology at an ID university.

This expert has over 25 years of experience in physical therapy, specializing in spine rehabilitation and extremity conservative and post surgical rehabilitation, orthopedic manual therapy, with additional specialization in ankle and foot rehabilitation and orthotics. She earned her BA in psychology and BS in physical education from the University of California Berkeley, her MPT from Emory University, and her DPT from Evidence in Motion. She is certified in dry needling and as an orthopedic specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. This licensed physical therapist previously served as a staff physical therapist at West Portland Physical Therapy Clinic, at Reid and Yates Physical Therapy, and at New Heights Integrative Therapy. She currently serves as the owner and clinical director of a sports medicine and spine therapy clinic in Oregon.
