This expert has been practicing for over 40 years and has experience in both hospital and ambulatory care settings. A Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Pediatric Primary Care Mental Health Specialist, she has been honored as a Fellow of both the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. A Former President of the Greater New York Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, she is a reviewer for the Journal of Pediatric Nursing, the Journal of Pediatric Health Care, as well as The American Journal for Nurse Practitioners. He earned his B.A. in Psychology from Adelphi University, his M.A. in Clinical Psychology, and his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After completing his Ph.D., the expert began his career working at the Catholic Charities foster care and group home agency in Brooklyn. He later directed a large mental health system in Oklahoma and then served as the Clinical Director of a large county mental health clinic upon returning to New York. The expert is active in New York and New Jersey as a forensic psychologist, providing testing and assessment of patients including psychological diagnosis, child abuse/neglect assessments, and alcohol/substance abuse assessments.

This expert has nearly 20 years of experience in the epidemiology and behavioral science field, specializing in foodborne outbreaks, worksite health, workplace behaviors, consumer retail behavior, and, most recently, the impact of COVID-19 on human behavior. She earned a BA in math and psychology from Bradley University, an MS in epidemiology and biostatistics from the University of South Florida, and a PhD in public and community health from the University of Maryland. Formerly, this expert served as an adjunct professor in public health at Montgomery College. She then went on to serve as a program analyst for behavioral and social research programs at the National Institute of Aging and National Cancer Institute, along with serving as a deputy director of strategic and innovative programs at the National Institutes of Health. Currently, she is the CEO of an epidemiology and behavioral science consulting firm in Maryland.
