She has been instrumental in the creation and oversight of many aspects of home care businesses including policy and procedures, caregiver training and training manuals, business development, clinical services, contracting, quality improvement, compliance, reimbursement and human resources. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Michigan State University and has pursued graduate course work in business administration.
