She is active in neuropsychology research, having authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and given presentations at several conferences throughout her career. Her work focuses on topics such as traumatic brain injury, concussion, stroke, trauma, and various mood disorders in both children and adults. She has formerly served as an assistant professor of clinical psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a clinical neuropsychologist for the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.
