He went on to complete his residency in psychiatry and his fellowship in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry at Johns Hopkins University. He is dual board certified in psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry and is an active member of the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry and The Gerontological Society of America. This expert formerly served as an associate professor of psychiatry and as the medical director of geriatric psychiatry at Jefferson Hospital. He also most recently served as the director of geriatric psychiatry at Thomas Jefferson University. He currently serves as a professor of psychiatry and as the director of the vision rehabilitation research center at a top medical school in Pennsylvania.

He has published over 190 peer-reviewed articles and has delivered over 200 presentations across the country. A recipient of the American College of Health Care Administrators Public Service Award as well as The Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing Distinguished Scholar Award, this expert sits on the Editorial Board of 8 academic journals, including Health Care Management Review, the Journal of Aging and Social Policy, and the Journal of Applied Gerontology. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Health Policy & Management at a major university, and he also serves as the Director of the Doctoral Program in Health Services Research at the same institution.

She earned her AS in applied science from Luzerne County Community College and completed a 120-hour nursing home administrator's course at Penn State University. She is licensed as a registered nurse and a nursing home administrator. She has been a registered nurse for several different units at the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center, including orthopedics, ER/ICU, and subacute and medical-surgical care. She was also a critical care nurse for Saint Catherine's Medical Center and a nurse supervisor for Genesis Healthcare. For the past 7 years, this expert has served as a nursing services director for several healthcare facilities such as Spang Crest, Golden Living Center, and Genesis Health Care.
