He is the president of the Massachusetts Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and a member of various other professional associations, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He is a former instructor of anesthesiology at Harvard University and the former director of the acute postoperative pain service at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Currently, he is an assistant professor of pain management at a top 5 university, where he also directs the interventional pain service.
