This highly qualified expert is the owner of an independent commercial and investment real estate practice. His firm specializes in land acquisition for development and investment; retail, office and industrial site selection; tenant representation; and investment acquisition and counseling. This expert has extensive real estate ethics experience. From 2001 to 2007, he served as the President of the Nevada Real Estate Commission. Appointed by Nevada’s Governor, the five-member commission conducts disciplinary hearings, approves all real estate education courses, advises the Nevada Real Estate Division and adopts regulations governing the activities of Nevada’s approximately 25,000 real estate licensees. This expert also has significant national real estate experience. He served for 18 years as a member of the Board of Directors for the CCIM Institute, a 20,000-member organization which awards the Certified Commerical Investment Member designation. This expert has extensive expert witness and trial experience. He earned his BA at the University of Southern California.

This expert has been a licensed, practicing attorney since 1987. He regularly practices in both Oregon and Washington state, where he has represented numerous lending institutions, private lenders, small and large businesses, and individuals. His practice has spanned numerous commercial and business areas such as real estate transactions, commercial lending, bankruptcy, and litigation, among others. He is a regular speaker at Continuing Legal Education events in Oregon and Washington on these and other topics. He has also testified as an expert witness in state and federal courts.

This highly qualified expert has over 25 years of experience in business, international, consumer credit, underwriting, and collections. He received his BBA in accounting from the University of Hawaii and is a certified consumer credit executive (CCCE) by the Society of Certified Credit Executives. He started his career off at American Express as a manager and team leader for credit review and collections call centers. In this role, he led a 20 member call center team and was responsible for a $336 million consumer and commercial credit portfolio. He continued on to serve in a variety of leadership roles in credit and collections. He currently serves as Global Credit and Collections manager for an international audio manufacturing company, where he leads the US and UK AR/credit team responsible for AR, credit, collections, credit hold queue, financial analysis, DSO control and loss prevention. He is a member of the executive credit team and the lead negotiator on global collections and international credit sales.
