Bicycle Expert Witnesses in West Virginia

This avid motorcyclist works in the professional motorcycle racing industry, and has access to motorcycles similar or identical to that described in this case. He was also a track coach for 6 years during his tenure at Pro-Motion and Sportbike Track Time.

This expert has an expertise in bicycle accident reconstruction with his extensive cycling experience and his education in human factors, biomechanics and engineering. He has experience analyzing a variety of bicycle issues such as rider behavior/bicycle safety, accident reconstruction, bicycle helmet component failure, and bicycle maintenance.

This expert frequently teaches League of American Bicyclists classes at Wright Dunbar Interpretative Center and Wright State University in Ohio. He worked with the Aviation Heritage National Park Rangers to set up the nationally recognized "Bike with a Ranger" historical bicycling tour program and continues to train National Park Service Rangers involved with the program prior to their program participation. He is currently a chairman of the Ohio Bicycle Federation, where he helped push bicycle safety legislature into laww, Vice President of an Ohio cycling club, and an active member of the USA Cycling Association. He is also active in the "Dayton Safe Kids" project on the wheeled activities committee, where he works to ensure proper rules are in place to ensure the safety of children on the road. HE has represented cycling on the National Committee for Uniform Traffic Laws and Ordinances (NCUTLO). In this position, he worked with League of American Bicyclists representative to update the Uniform Vehicle Code regarding cycling.
