With a career in the home care industry spanning 35 years, this registered nurse has had hands on experience in both the administrative and clinical aspects of the field. She progressed to senior executive levels within a multi-million dollar national home care company with locations in 28 States. She has been instrumental in the creation and oversight of many aspects of home care businesses including policy and procedures, caregiver training and training manuals, business development, clinical services, contracting, quality improvement, compliance, reimbursement and human resources. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Michigan State University and has pursued graduate course work in business administration. She currently serves as a board member of the National Association of Home Care and Hospices Private Duty Home Care Association.

This qualified expert has nearly 25 years of experience in nursing. She earned her AS in applied science from Luzerne County Community College and completed a 120-hour nursing home administrator's course at Penn State University. She is licensed as a registered nurse and a nursing home administrator. She has been a registered nurse for several different units at the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center, including orthopedics, ER/ICU, and subacute and medical-surgical care. She was also a critical care nurse for Saint Catherine's Medical Center and a nurse supervisor for Genesis Healthcare. For the past 7 years, this expert has served as a nursing services director for several healthcare facilities such as Spang Crest, Golden Living Center, and Genesis Health Care.
