This double board-certified expert has over 30 years of experience in preventive medicine, specifically aerospace and occupational medicine. He received a M.D. from the University of Kansas and finished a fellowship in Space Medicine at NASA and the Johnson Space Center in Houston. A Senior FAA Medical Examiner, he has been elected as a Fellow to the American College of Preventive Medicine, the Aerospace Medical Association, and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He is currently very active in academic and clinical positions. He serves as a Medical Consultant to various companies including a major airline. This 40+ year veteran of the aviation industry has extensive experience as an airline pilot and additional background in safety inspection, flight instruction, airport management, and accident investigation.
