Questions to the Software expert and their responses

Q1

Please describe your experience with the design/engineering of virtual reality headsets and related products.

I think you would be hard pressed to find any independent consultant more qualified to help you in this matter. Over the course of 11 years, I provided expert witness and technical evaluation services in patent litigation involving wireless networking and other computer technology. This work included some very high profile cases with some of the top legal firms, where I specialized in proving invalidity. I then turned my attention to working as part of a startup to help develop new technology in AR/VR as well as to develop the patent portfolio and other IP for the company. During my years at the startup, I intensely researched the patent and other prior art lit for AR/VR going back 30 years. I have carefully followed the developments at Magic Leap, Microsoft, Oculus, Valve-HTC, and many others. I am still helping one of the founders of the startup prosecute the filed applications that were left when the VC pulled the plug on that startup. Now I focus on writing patents for new clients in areas that include wireless networks, AR/VR and artificial intelligence.
