Please describe your background in human trafficking and why you are qualified to opine on this matter.

I have 10+ years of experience in human trafficking, asylum, and migration laws both nationally and internationally. I am currently an independent expert at a private asylum organization as well as an adjunct faculty member at a top university on the west coast. My focus is human trafficking. I hold a bachelor's degree in political science, a master's degree in human rights, and a Ph.D. in jurisprudence and social policy from a top university. I am certified in international conflict resolution, and I've published 10 articles on the topics of human trafficking, exploitation, and migration.

About the expert

This highly qualified expert has over 10 years of experience in human trafficking, asylum and migration laws, both nationally and internationally. She received her BA in Political Science from the University of San Francisco; then internationally traveled to earn her MS in Human Rights from the London School of Social Policy.
