He earned his BS in mechanical engineering from the United States Military Academy and his MD from the University of Mississippi before subsequently completing his residency in emergency medicine at the Morristown Memorial Hospital and his fellowship in critical care medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is board certified in emergency medicine and is active in his field as a member of the American College of Emergency Medicine. Before transitioning to the medical field, this expert served in the army for 5 years and spent 6 years working for Swayze and Church as a mechanical engineer.
