Dr. Sande Okelo, MD, PhD

Dr. Sande O. Okelo has specialized experience in the field of Pediatric Pulmonology. They earned their BA in History from Stanford University, their MD from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and their PhD in Clinical Investigation from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. After completing their residency in Pediatrics at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital - Oakland, they went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Today, the expert holds a certification in Pediatric Pulmonology. Previously, they held roles as a Director of the Pediatric Cardiopulmonary Exercise Program at Johns Hopkins Medicine, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins University, and Associate Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Currently, they work as a Founding Chief of Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine and Director of Clinical Research at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and Director of the Pediatric Asthma Center of Excellence (PACE) at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center.
