Dr. Samuel Pierce received his BS from the University of Southern Mississippi and his MS and PhD from the University of Memphis. He's a member of various organizations including the Society of Wetland Scientists, the International Phytotechnology Society, and the Society for Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry. He was formerly a research associate at the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Aquaculture as well as an assistant professor of departmental and biological sciences at Lock Haven University. He has also held titles as a biologist at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, an environmental scientist at CMD Associates, and a senior scientist at Cypress Environmental Services. Currently, he serves as adjunct faculty teaching biology at a university in Michigan.
