Mahmood Khan, PhD

Mahmood Khan, PhD has over 40 years of experience teaching restaurant management and conducting research in his field. He earned his BS from A.P Agricultural University in India before moving on to earn both his MS and PhD from Louisiana State University. The expert is a registered dietitian by the American Dietetic Association as well as a member of multiple professional organizations, including the International College of Hospitality Management and the National Restaurant Association. Formerly, he served as an adjunct faculty member of nutrition at Pennsylvania State University, an assistant professor and coordinator of foods, nutrition, and dietetics at Albright College along with associate professor of food service management and program director of restaurant management at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. This expert has also served as professor and assistant head of hotel, restaurant, and institutional management and professor and head of hospitality and tourism management at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Currently, this expert serves as a professor and director of the master's program of hospitality and tourism management at a large public university in Virginia.
