Dr. Nelli Lakis, MD, MSc

Dr. Nelli S. Lakis has specialized experience in the fields of Neuropathology, Anatomic Pathology, and Clinical Pathology. They earned their BS in Biology and MD from the American University of Beirut and their MS in Global Health from the University of Oxford. After completing their residency in Pathology at SUNY Upstate Medical University, they went on to complete a fellowship in Neuropathology at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Today, the expert holds certifications in Neuropathology and Pathology - Anatomic/Pathology - Clinical. Previously, they held roles as a Senior Medical Consultant at HealthInvest and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Currently, they work as the Director of Autopsy and Clinical Neuropathology & Ocular Pathology Services, an Associate Residency Program Director, and a Clinical Associate Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
