Dr. John Denton, MD

Dr. John S. Denton has specialized experience in the fields of Forensic Pathology, Anatomic Pathology, and Clinical Pathology. They earned their BS in Zoology from Arizona State University Tempe Campus and their MD from the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson. After completing their residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, they went on to complete a fellowship in Forensic Pathology with the Cook County Medical Examiner. Today, the expert holds certifications in Forensic Pathology and Anatomic Pathology & Clinical Pathology. Previously, they held roles as an Assistant Medical Examiner at the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Rush University Medical Center, and a Forensic Pathologist at the Peoria County Coroner’s Office. Currently, they work as a Forensic Pathologist and Illinois Coroner’s Physician at McLean County Coroner's Office and a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.
