Dr. James Black, MD, FACS

Dr. James H. Black III has 18 years of experience in the field of Vascular Surgery. He earned his BA from the College of the Holy Cross and his MD from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. After completing his residency in General Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, he went on to complete a fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery and Vascular Surgery. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Director of the Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy Fellowship Program at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and as a Bertram M. Bernheim, MD Associate Professor of Surgery at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Currently, the expert serves as the David Goldfarb MD Research Professor and as a Professor of Surgery at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He also serves as the Division Chief and Regional Director of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
