Dr. Michael Zenilman, MD, FACS

Dr. Michael E. Zenilman has 32 years of experience in the field of Surgery. He earned his BS from SUNY at Stony Brook and his MD from SUNY Downstate Medical School. He completed an internship, a residency, and a research fellowship in Surgery at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery. Formerly, this expert served as a Professor of Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He currently serves as an Attending Surgeon at New York Harbor VA Medical Center, NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn, NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, and NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. He is also a Professor Emeritus of Health Policy and Management at the SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University School of Public Health and a Professor of Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College. Furthermore, he is the Chair of Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and the Vice-Chair of Surgery for Weill Cornell Medicine.
