Dr. George Murphy, MD

Dr. George F. Murphy has years of experience in Dermatopathology, Immunopathology, and Anatomic Pathology. They earned their BA in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania and MD from the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine. After completing their residency in Internal Medicine at Boston Medical Center, they completed a fellowship in Dermatopathology at Massachusetts General Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Dermatopathology and Anatomic Pathology. Formerly, they were a Staff Pathologist at the University of Vermont Medical Center, Director of Dermatopathology Services at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Professor in the Departments of Pathology and Dermatology at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. Currently, they work as a Professor and Director at Harvard Medical School and as the Director of Dermatopathology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
