Dr. Thomas Ryan, MD, MBA, FASE, FACC

Dr. Thomas J. Ryan has over 35 years of experience in the field of Cardiovascular Disease. He earned his BA from Indiana University Bloomington, his MD from Indiana University School of Medicine, and his MBA from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He completed both an internship and residency in Internal Medicine, as well as a Fellowship in Cardiology at IU Health University Hospital. Today, this expert is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Formerly, he served as a Research Associate at the Krannert Institute of Cardiology, as a Physician at the Durham VA Medical Center, and as the Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory at the Duke University Medical Center. He also served as the Director of the Heart Center at the Duke University Medical Center and as a Professor of Medicine at the Duke University School of Medicine. He currently serves as a Profesor of Cardiovascular Medicine and as the John G. & Jeanne Bonnet McCoy Chair of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. He also serves as the Director of the Heart and Vascular Center at the Wexner Medical Center and as the Executive Director of the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital. Moreover, he is also an Instructor of Medicine at the Duke University School of Medicine.
