Dr. Sara Vargas, MD

Dr. Sara O. Vargas has specialized experience in the fields of Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology and Pediatric Pathology. They earned their BA from Harvard University and their MD from University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine. After completing their residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Brigham and Women's Hospital, they went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric and Perinatal Pathology at Boston Children's Hospital. Today, the expert holds certifications in Pediatric Pathology and Anatomic Pathology & Clinical Pathology. Previously, they held roles as a Research Assistant at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Clinical Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Quality Assurance Assistant at Boston Children's Hospital. Currently, they work as a Staff Pathologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Attending Pathologist at Boston Children's Hospital and Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School.
