Dr. Lawrence Prince, MD, PhD

Dr. Lawrence S. Prince has specialized experience in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. They earned their BS in Chemistry from the University of Miami, MD from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, and PhD in Cell Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After completing their residency in Pediatrics, they went on to complete a fellowship in Neonatology at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics. Today, the expert holds a certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Previously, they held roles as an Associate Scientist at O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Currently, they work as the Philip Sunshine, MD Professor of Neonatology at Stanford University School of Medicine and as the Chief and Co-Director at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford.
