Dr. Joseph Felo, DO

Dr. Joseph A. Felo has 27 years of experience in the field of Pathology with a specialization in Forensic Pathology. He earned his BS in Biology from St. Lawrence University and his DO from Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Cleveland Clinic, he went on to complete a fellowship in Forensic Pathology at Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner. Today, this expert is board-certified in Forensic Pathology, Anatomic Pathology, and Clinical Pathology. Formerly, this expert held roles as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Pathology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and as a Deputy Medical Examiner and Forensic Pathologist at Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office. Currently, he serves as a Basic Science Lecturer at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and as an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Forensic Pathology at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also serves as the Program Director of the Forensic Pathology Fellowship, and Chief Deputy Medical Examiner and Forensic Pathologist at Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.
