Dr. Jack Owens, MD, MPH, CPE, FAAP

Dr. Jack D. Owens has specialized experience in the fields of Neonatology, Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, and Pediatrics. They earned their BS in Biology and Chemistry from Point Loma Nazarene University, their MD from Emory University School of Medicine, and their MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Alabama. After completing their residency in Pediatrics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Heersink School of Medicine, they went on to complete a fellowship in Neonatology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Heersink School of Medicine. Today, the expert holds certifications in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and Pediatrics. Previously, they held roles as a Neonatologist at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center, an Assistant Professor at Emory University School of Medicine, and a Neonatologist and QI Coordinator at Newborn Associates PA. Currently, they work as a Medical Director at Ballad Health and the Neonatology Division Chief and Professor at East Tennessee State University.
