Dr. George Lopez, MD

Dr. George A. Lopez has specialized experience in the fields of Vascular Neurology, Neurocritical Care, and Neurology. They earned their BS in Chemical Engineering from California State University, Northridge, their MD from UCSF School of Medicine, and their PhD in Physiology from the University of California, San Francisco. After completing their residency in Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco, they went on to complete a fellowship in Neurocritical Care at the University of Virginia. Today, the expert holds certifications in Neurocritical Care, Vascular Neurology, and Neurology. Previously, they held roles as an Associate Professor at Rush University Medical College and Associate Medical Director of Neurosciences ICU at Rush University Medical Center. Currently, they work as an Attending Physician at Swedish Neuroscience Institute.
