Dr. Corey Rood, MD

Dr. Corey J. Rood has over 10 years of experience in Pediatrics and Child Abuse Pediatrics. They earned their undergraduate degree in Zoology from Weber State University and their medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University. After completing their residency in Pediatrics at the University of New Mexico, they went on to complete a fellowship in Child Abuse Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Rood is board certified in pediatrics and child abuse pediatrics. Formerly, Dr. Rood held roles as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah and as Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of California, Irvine. Currently, they serve as Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of California, Irvine, and as Medical Director of Child Abuse Pediatrics at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine.
