Expert Qualifications

This expert earned her MD at the Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo and then completed two residencies, one in internal medicine at Edgewater Medical Center and a second in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She went on to complete a fellowship in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine and is a member of both the American and Canadian Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She formally served as the director of the neurorehabilitation fellowship at Hamilton Health Sciences and she currently serves a physician, associate professor, and interim chief of physical medicine and rehabilitation at a medical school in Ontario.
