This expert is an emergency physician in practice for 30 years, 18 of which he reviewed claims for all classes of medical payers including Blue Cross plans, major indemnity insurers, and Medicaid. One of his specialties is cost containment and recovery of overpayments, and he has designed and implemented major claims audits systems. He earned his MD at the University of Chicago and has held emergency medicine and medical directorship positions for many years. He currently serves as the president of a private medical consulting firm, in addition to his role as attending emergency physician and clinical professor at a major university medical center.
