This highly experienced, board-certified academic emergency medicine physician practices in an urban emergency department where approximately 15% of his case load is pediatric. He has held various academic appointments including assistant professor of emergency medicine at a prestigious medical school. His extensive research history includes a pediatric screening project with successful grant applications. He has lectured extensively throughout his career and teaches, amounting to approximately 1300 hours per year, post-doctural students in various subjects such as pediatric emergency medicine, surgery, gynecology and psychiatry.
