This highly experienced, triple board certified Professor of Medicine completed two Fellowships (in Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology). He is a member of multiple professional societies including the American Heart Association and the American Medical Association. He has received many awards and honors throughout his career, including the American Heart Association's Young Investigator Award several times. This expert serves a reviewer for several highly regarded medical journals including Circulation, Clinical Cardiology and the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine. His research projects have attracted tens of millions of dollars in funding from the National Institute of Health. In addition to his academic and clinical pursuits, this expert is an innovator and a patent holder for lower extremity compression devices, systems and methods to enhance circulation.
