Formerly he held roles as an Obstetrics and Gynecology specialist in The United States Air Force and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Nevada. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at a Major University in Nevada.

He completed his EMT and LPN programs at Bellingham Technical College and his Physician Assistant Program at the University of Washington.
