He held an assistant professorship in neurology at the University of Cincinnati while being active staff at the Cincinnati VAMC before moving to Wisconsin Medical College to become a full professor of Neurology and a private practitioner. He is currently a clinical professor and director of a regional epilepsy center at a major medical center, where he has published many articles, chapters, and abstracts on the topic of neurology.

This expert earned his BA in Chemistry from Washington University and a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. After receiving his PhD, he earned his MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
