This expert has 10 years of experience as a litigator and more than 30 years of experience as a staff person and volunteer in agencies advocating for victims of abuse and neglect. In addition to her Juris Doctorate and Masters Degree in Human Relations, she also has a diploma from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine Department of Pediatrics in Interdisciplinary Training in Child Abuse and Neglect. She has received multiple certifications, including: Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association, a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, and an Advanced Preceptor certification. Previously, she has worked as an Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit Nurse and as a Hospice Case Manager, in which she managed the care of patients and visited those in skilled nursing facilities and their homes. Currently, she is a Hospice Case Manager at a company in Nebraska, as well as a Clinical Teacher of Nursing at a Large University.
