This expert has been a physician in emergency centers for over 20 years with increasing volume. His current emergency department sees over 50,000 patients per year. He also has Advanced Cardiac, Trauma, and Pediatric Advanced certificates, and is an instructor as well. He has presented often and has publications in the emergency and hyperbaric fields.

He is active in his field as a member of several organizations, including the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American Board of Pediatrics, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is also involved in research, having authored several peer-reviewed publications and presented at several conferences. He has formerly served as a pediatric critical care and sedation attending physician at Sunrise Children's Hospital and Children's Hospital at OU Medical Center, as well as an assistant professor of clinical and translational sciences at the University of Oklahoma. She has also served as an assistant professor of radiology and pediatrics at Vanderbilt University, a clinical associate professor of radiology at the University of Missouri, and as a professor and the academic chair of radiology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is currently a clinical associate professor of radiology at a medical school in Kansas as well as a pediatric radiologist with a radiology group practice in Kansas.
