Widely published in professional journals such as the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Clinics of North America, he currently serves as a full Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at a major medical university, where he also acts as the Director of the Residency Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

This expert has been a practicing dentist for almost 30 years. He owned and operated his own general dentistry private practice for almost 15 years and has since been more heavily involved in academia. This expert currently serves not only as an Associate Professor in the Department of General Dentistry at a major college of dentistry, but also as the Director of Continuing Education. He completed the entire Continuum Series at the prestigious LD Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and reviews multiple academic dental journals.

He graduated from Duke University with a BA and graduated with a DDS from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. The expert is certified in endodontics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and is a member of several organizations, including the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society and the American Dental Education Association. He is a former associate endodontist as well as a partner endodontist in Virginia and currently is the owner and endodontist at a private practice in Virginia. He is listed annually as a top regional endodontist in numerous magazines and is a frequent speaker at study clubs and meetings.

This expert received his DDS from Tehran Azad University and later completed another DDS program at the UCLA Professional Program for International Dentists. He went on to complete two internships in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Louisville and the Oral Surgical Institute followed by a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Louisville. He was previously a clinical lecturer of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Michigan and is currently an MD candidate at the University of Louisville.
