She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Creighton University and her Master of Science in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner from University Nebraska Medical Center. She is not only a nurse practitioner but also a certified bariatric nurse. She is currently a nurse practitioner in bariatric surgery as well as the bariatric surgery coordinator at a major medical center specializing in weight management. She is responsible for all the education to all bariatric surgery patients, staff in the hospital and surrounding communities in regards to bariatric surgery (or other weight management topics) and is the Leader of the Bariatric Surgery Staff.

She is a certified Trauma Nurse, Emergency Nurse, Emergency Pediatric Nurse, and Trauma Nurse Specialist. Formerly, she was a Travel Contract Nurse for the Emergency Services department of TG Healthcare and American Mobile Network, as well as an Agency Nurse for Medical Staffing Network, and a Staff Nurse for Medical Solutions. She is currently the Director of Nursing for a local urgent care center.

This qualified expert received her BSN from Union College in Nebraska and her MS in Forensics from the Nebraska Wesleyan University. This expert is a registered nurse, is board certified in Hospice and Palliative Care and has 15 years of experience in nursing settings. She has received multiple certifications, including: Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association, a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, and an Advanced Preceptor certification. Previously, she has worked as an Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit Nurse and as a Hospice Case Manager, in which she managed the care of patients and visited those in skilled nursing facilities and their homes. Currently, she is a Hospice Case Manager at a company in Nebraska, as well as a Clinical Teacher of Nursing at a Large University.

This highly-qualified expert has over 30 years of experience as a certified registered nurse anesthetist. He earned his BS in nursing from South Dakota State University before completing his certification in nurse anesthesia at Mayo Medical Center. He later earned his MBA from the University of Iowa. He is a licensed registered nurse and a licensed advanced registered nurse practitioner. This expert is very active in his field as a member of several professional societies including the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the Iowa Association of Nurse Anesthetists. In addition, this expert has been invited to give clinical lectures on over 50 occasions. Formerly, this expert held several roles throughout his career including as a registered nurse in the ICU at Saint Mary’s Hospital before he became certified in nurse anesthesia.
