He is a former clinical professor of radiology at UCSF and the former director of gastrointestinal radiology at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, San Francisco. He is also the former chairman of radiology at both Louisiana State University and Highland General Hospital, and the former director of radiology at San Francisco College of Osteopathic Medicine. Currently, he is a professor of radiology at a top 5 university, where he also directs the radiology residency program. Additionally, he is a staff radiologist at two major hospitals in Massachusetts.
