This highly-qualified plastic surgery expert is dual-board certified in plastic surgery and general surgery and has extensive experience in adult and pediatric reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery, craniofacial surgery, surgeries due to dog bites and motor vehicle accidents, facial fractures, skull base surgery, and cranioplasty. He received his BS in biological sciences from Stanford University before earning his MD from the University of Michigan. He subsequently completed both an internship and residency in general surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham followed by a residency in plastic surgery at Duke University, serving as the chief resident in both residency programs. During his residency in plastic surgery, he worked with Operation Smile in Jamshedpur, India performing cleft lip and left palate repairs for patients with little access to medical care. He then went on to complete a fellowship in craniofacial and plastic surgery at the University of Southern California. This expert is active in his field as a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, AOCMF North America, and the North American Skull Base Society and serves on the credentials committee at two hospitals and the medical executive committee at one.
