Forensic Pathology Expert Witnesses in Florida

This medical toxicologist is a fellow of the American College of Medical Toxicology and an adjunct associate professor of Toxicology at a respected Florida college of public health. In addition to an MD obtained in Mexico, he earned his doctorate in Toxicology from the University of Minnesota, with a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Texas at Houston. He was a Poison Specialist Certified with the American Association of Poison Control Centers for more than twenty years and is an active member of the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology and the Society of Toxicology. He has over a quarter century of experience performing medical toxicological assessments on individuals and communities exposed to toxic substances such as pesticides, heavy metals, industrial and environmental chemicals substances both at the community level as well as occupationally.

This highly qualified, board certified forensic pathologist has extensive experience in his field. He completed his BS in criminalistics from Michigan State University, and then went on to obtain his JD and MD from Creighton University. After finishing his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology from the Naval Hospital Oakland, this expert went on to complete his fellowship in forensic pathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. He has published over 15 peer-reviewed articles related to topics in his field. Formerly, this expert has served as the general medical officer at Camp Kisner, an associate medical examiner at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, the Deputy Shelby County medical examiner, and as a clinical instructor at George Washington University and the Uniform Services School of Health Sciences. Currently, this expert serves as the chief of the Broward County Office of Medical Examiner and Trauma Services.

This highly qualified expert has over 10 years of experience as a forensic toxicologist. She earned her BS in chemistry at the University of Georgia before completing her PhD in analytical chemistry at the University of Arizona. She then completed an MS in forensic toxicology at the University of Florida. She is board certified and a fellow in forensic toxicology by the American Board of Forensic Toxicology, a certified toxicological chemist by the National Registry of Certified Chemists, and a licensed clinical laboratory director in the state of Florida. She is very active in her field as a member of several professional societies including the Society of Forensic Toxicologist, the American Academy of Forensic Science, and the International Association of Forensic Toxicologists. In addition, this expert has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles. Formerly, this expert was a toxicologist level II and III for the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner Department. She is not the director of the toxicology laboratory at a medical examiner's office in Florida.
