This expert has worked in the firearms and firearms training business for over 40 years in the military, specializing in Combat Tactics and Training, Marksmanship, and Small Arms Skill Development. He holds membership in a multitude of distinguished professional firearm organizations and has earned the prestigious U.S. Army Distinguished Badges for both Service Pistol and Service Rifle. This expert also coached and was a firing team member of the World Champion U.S. Army Reserve International Combat Team. He earned his BA in chemistry at Saint Anselm College and holds several certifications including latent print examiner, firearm examiner, tool mark examiner, and gunshot residue/distance determination examiner. He is very active in his field as a member of several professional societies including the Association of Firearm and Tool Mark Examiners, the International Association for Identification, and the Northeastern Association of Forensic Scientists. Formerly, this expert served as a quality control chemist at Dexter Electronic Materials before holding multiple positions at the New Hampshire State Police Forensic Laboratory including a fingerprint technician, criminalist I, criminalist II, and criminalist III.
