He also completed the senior executives program for state and local government at Harvard Kennedy School of Government and the national leadership preparedness initiative program at the Harvard School of Public Health. This expert is active in his field as a member of several organizations, including the FBI National Academy, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the International Association of Emergency Managers, and the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators. He spent the majority of his career with the Boston Police Department, starting as a police officer in the Drug Control Unit and eventually becoming the superintendent-in-chief. With the Boston Police Department, he was a certified hostage negotiator, implemented 7 World Championship events, oversaw the department's handling of the 2011 Occupy Movement, and was the incident commander for the 2013 Boston Marathon. Upon retiring from the Boston Police Department, this expert founded The Linskey Group, a security, law enforcement, and emergency management services consulting firm. Currently, he is the managing director of the investigations and dispute practices division of a global security and risk management firm.
