This board certified expert has been in clinical practice for over 10 years and is currently the Vice Chairman of the department of Surgery at his clinical institution. He is also the Program Director for the General Surgery Residency Program. He completed his residency training at the Tulsa Regional Medical Center (now Oklahoma State University Medical Center) and St. Francis Hospital. He is a member of numerous surgical associations and institutional committees that ensure excellence in surgical technique and outcomes. He is actively involved in research and his interests lie primarily in general and laparoscopic surgery, chronic wound care, complex ventral hernias, and endoscopy. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Creighton University and her Master of Science in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner from University Nebraska Medical Center. She is not only a nurse practitioner but also a certified bariatric nurse. She is currently a nurse practitioner in bariatric surgery as well as the bariatric surgery coordinator at a major medical center specializing in weight management. She is responsible for all the education to all bariatric surgery patients, staff in the hospital and surrounding communities in regards to bariatric surgery (or other weight management topics) and is the Leader of the Bariatric Surgery Staff.

This double board certified expert earned his MD at New York University School of Medicine and completed post-graduate training at the nation's top medical institutions. His clinical practice encompasses all aspects of general thoracic surgery. He has special interests in thoracic malignancies including lung cancer, esophageal cancer and mediastinal and chest wall tumors. This expert has published over 25 papers in prestigious peer-reviewed journals including the Annals of Thoracic Surgery, The Journal of Surgical Research, Surgery, and The Journal of Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery. In addition, he has authored several book chapters and has presented his research at the Surgical Forum of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of University Surgeons, the Association for Academic Surgery, and the American Association for Cancer Research.

She received her BA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, before going on to get her MD at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center- San Antonio. She completed a general surgery residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and then completed a research fellowship in the department of pediatric surgery at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. She then completed her clinical fellowship in critical care at Washington University. She is an active contributor to her field with numerous publications and several presentations and is a member of multiple organizations, including, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma and the Association of Women Surgeons. She formerly served as a shift physician for Omaha EMS and currently serves as an professor in the department of general surgery, trauma, critical care and emergency surgery at a university in Nebraska. Clinically, she serves as the director of emergency general surgery, trauma and critical care at a university-affiliated medical center.
