In addition, his recent publications have been recognized by the Harvard Law School Bankruptcy Roundtable and have appeared in the University of Connecticut Law Review, the University of Cincinnati Law Review, and the American Bankruptcy Law Journal. Before joining academia, he practiced complex financial restructuring at Latham & Watkins and Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in Los Angeles and Baker Botts in Houston. While in private practice, he participated in cases involving Lehman Brothers and Trump Hotel & Casino Resorts. He then transitioned to academia, serving as an associate professor of law at Lewis & Clark Law School. During the 2018-2019 academic year, this expert was a Fulbright Schuman Scholar and served as a visiting professor at the University of Oxford Law School.
