She then completed her clinical fellowship in critical care at Washington University. This board certified ophthalmologist earned his MD at Baylor College of Medicine and completed fellowship training in both molecular ophthalmology and oculoplastic surgery. He is a member of numerous prestigious societies in the ophthalmology space, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Ophthalmalic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is currently an associate professor of oculoplastic, orbit, and oncology service in the department of ophthalmology and visual sciences at a top university medical center in the Midwest.

This highly qualified expert has her Associate of Science in Nursing from College of St. Mary's. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Creighton University and her Master of Science in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner from University Nebraska Medical Center. She is not only a nurse practitioner but also a certified bariatric nurse. She is currently a nurse practitioner in bariatric surgery as well as the bariatric surgery coordinator at a major medical center specializing in weight management.
