He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery at Stanford University as well as a research fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles that have appeared in journals such as the "Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery" and the "Annals of Thoracic Surgery", while he serves as a reviewer for the "World Journal for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease", among others. He holds membership in the Council on Cardiovascular Surgery and Anesthesia of the American Heart Association, the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, and the Western Thoracic Surgical Association, and he has been presented at conferences such as the Annual Meeting of the American Association for Thoracic Surgery and the Scientific Sessions of the American Heart Association. Currently, this expert is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at a major medical university, as well as the Director of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery at a major children's hospital.

He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center prior to completing both a fellowship in Cardiology and a Preceptorship in Cardiac Electrophysiology. Awarded the honor of Fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, he is currently a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at a top medical school, where he also serves as the Director of Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine.
